Etisalat 4G LTE Network now live in Lagos, Abuja and other cities

Etisalat 4g lte network

Five days ago, i posted that Etisalat Nigeria is set to launch their own 4G LTE network to join existing 4G network providers like MTN 4G, Glo 4G and ntel in the 4G services.

I'm glad to inform you that Etisalat 4G LTE network is now available in some urban cities in Nigeria like Lagos and Abuja, other cities coming soon.

When you scan the available network, Etisalat 4G network will show up on your 4G enable Mobile phone and you will start using the service instantly without any need for Sim swap. Etisalat 4G LTE network works with your old sim card unlike MTN and Glo 4G service that required you to swap  or upgrade your sim to a 4g sim card.

At the moment, Globacom Nigeria offers the widest 4G networks coverage as it is currently available in 9 major cities in Nigeria namely; Lagos, Abuja, Port harcourt, Warri, Eket, Jola, Jos, Zaria and Benin. MTN is available in 3 cities at the moment and Etisalat 4G is just available in some part of Lagos and Abuja but they've promised to extend the coverage to more cities.

The image below shows the test result of etisalat 4g speed and it is even more speedier than their 3G service.

If the MTN 4G, Glo 4G and Visafone 4G network is not working on your smartphone, then you might like to test Etisalat 4G network and see as it support more older 4g LTE smartphones unlike others.

If you are already making used of Etisalat 4G LTE network on your smartphone, then you should consider telling us about the speed.

One more thing, before you leave please share it with your friends.
