An unofficial port of CyanogenMod 14.1 is now available for Lenovo A6000/Plus, which brings Android 7.0 Nougat and new features to the phone. If you are excited to taste the all-new Nougat on your Lenovo A6000/Plus, then you can install the CyanogenMod 14.1 custom ROM, if your device is rooted and have TWRP custom recovery installed on it. In this guide, we show you the installation procedure for unofficial CyanogenMod 14.1 (Android 7.0 Nougat) on Lenovo A6000/Plus. Before get start, note that the present status of the ROM is Beta, which means it is not stable, contain bugs. However, most things are working fine, except FM radio and video have fps problems sometimes. About CyanogenMod 14.1CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.x (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device. CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. Installation Instructions- Make sure you are on stock lollipop or a lollipop/marshmallow based custom rom
- Wipe system/ data/ dalvik cache/ cache partition
- Flash the ROM
- Flash Gapps without booting into system
- Reboot.
- First boot will take a while…be patient, it will boot
- Enjoy!
