MTN Nigeria has quietly added a more affordable bundle to its data plans, 2.5GB for N500. Currently, the plan is only available via MyMTN app.

MTN Nigeria has quietly added a more affordable bundle to its data plans, 2.5GB for N500. Currently, the plan is only available via MyMTN app. This is coming after the introduction of MTN Jolly Data.

The plan is suitable for those who can't do without MTN Network and consuming much data daily (I mean, guys who can't without downloading large files or streaming HD movies online) because it was just designated with 2-day (48hrs) validity.

How to Activate MTN 2.5GB for N500

  • As I said earlier, the plan can only be accessed through the MyMTN app. 
  • Recharge your MTN SIM card with N500 airtime.
  • After installing the MyMTN app from Google Play or iOS App Store, launch it.
  • Look at the bottom of your device, tap Hot Data Deals at the top or click on Bundle > Data Bundles> Daily > 2.5GB 2-Day Plan (N500).

If you have the N500 airtime on your MTN SIM card, you should activate the data by simply following the steps provided above.

The data is valid for only 2-day. To check your data balance, simply dial ∗131∗4#.
