Whatsapp to Disconnect Symbian OS from the Whataapp network by December

it very Sad to Say this to the Symbian users here that Whatsapp tend to discontinue it from being used on Symbian OS, Since Mark took ovee whatsapp there have been upgrade on the whatsapp App and i don't think that all these OLD devices like Symbian, Java and Blackberry will be able to Contain or embrace this changes..


A popup message is now appearing to every WhatsApp users on Symbian Operating System reading as follows;

"Unfortunately, you won't be able to use WhatsApp after 31/12/2016 because WhatsApp will no longer support your phone". 

so if you are still using symbian, you better start looking for ways to upgrade to Android Else by December whatsapp will seize to work on Symbian and both BlackBerry devices.

I wonder the usefulness of a phone without whatsapp in the Generation

Last year, Google dropped unlimited backup on WhatsApp photos, and now WhatsApp unlimited backup is about to end. The latest report comes from WABetaInfo, which states that WhatsApp chats will also count against Google Drive storage in the future for Android users. If users are running short of space, they might be prompted to opt for a paid Google One plan. Keep in mind that on iOS, WhatsApp chats are backed up to iCloud. Apple only gives 5GB of free storage space on iCloud. To be clear, this news doesn't mean that WhatsApp users will no longer be able to back up their entire chat history to Google Drive; instead, it just means they might have to pay for backups beyond a specific limit. WhatsApp Latest Update Brings Rich Previews Document

As expected, WhatsApp with billions of users on the chat app keeps rolling out an update every week to enhance the functionality of the app. Another update is rolling out called Rich Document Preview, as reported by wabetainfo. WhatsApp is rolling out a new and improved preview for documents. Up until now, when you share documents, be it a PDF, JPEG, or DOC, WhatsApp only shows a generic preview displaying the file type and the file name. That means you have to open the document to really know what is inside. But with the latest WhatsApp beta update, the app now displays a rich preview, giving you a glimpse of the content inside.
