I don't know why Etisalat Nigeria is gradually releasing their goodies of cheap android data plans. Some months ago, Etisalat Android plan 2GB for N2,000 hit the market with much noise. This etisalat 1gb plan for 2000 nicknamed etisalat 1gb plan 2000 is what many Android users use on Etisalat sim. Not long afterwards, another secret internet data plan from that gives 3 hours of unlimited browsing on Etisalat for just #15 was launched, a plan almost similar to Etialat Pay Go. This is not a etisalat 1gb data plan cheat.

The only issue baffling me is why the network does not make any formal notification about their new data plans. I got whiff of this on Twitter when a user tweeted about getting 1GB for #1,000 from Etisalat some days back. Previously, you can only get 200MB worth of data for 1k on the existing plans. You can be sure this won't last you a week on your android smartphone.

Sadly, Etisalat 1GB for N1,000 plan may be for some selected SIM or still in testing phase because not every subscriber on the network is eligible yet.
