Apple Plans To Launch 13 And 15 Inch Macbooks By This Year
Apple has plans of refreshing the MacBook range by the 2nd quarter of this year. As per a new report, this company based in Cupertino has plans of launching some 15 inch and 13 inch MacBook models.
The report says that the forthcoming 15 inch and 13 inch MacBooks would offer same design like that of 12 inch, the launch of which was seen last year. The latest models would be thin as compared to the MacBook Air range. Based on that, speculations are made that this new one would feature only 1 USB-C port. The report also states that Lenovo, Dell and Asus too have plans of launching the ultra-thin notebooks around that time.
It is unclear whether Apple has plans of launching this MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models. Reports earlier suggested that the entire Mac Line would be refreshed. However, these devices are speculated to be powered by 'SkyLake' core processor, the 6th generation processor. Currently, SkyLake processor isn't utilized by Apple in its notebook lineup.
This processor improves power efficiency and helps Apple in further cutting down the thickness. Several hybrid devices and notebooks like Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are powered by the Skylake processor.
As per the reports, around 20.38 Mac products were shipped by Apple in the year 2015 and it had capture a growth of around 4.08%
