Samsung Also CONFIRMS Galaxy A7 2018 --what do you think?
Samsung's now confirmed the Galaxy A7 2018
Mere days after it emerged that Samsung had inadvertently confirmed the existence of the Galaxy A5 2018 via one of its online support websites, the company has now apparently done the same thing with the bigger brother of the series; the Galaxy A7 2018.
This time, the firm's Russian-facing website listed a new model as the SM-A730F, effectively the same slip-up as was made with the Galaxy A5 2018. The SM-A730F model number lines up perfectly with a progression from the Galaxy A7 models from 2016 and 2015.
The support page, as with the Galaxy A5 2018 slip-up, only confirms the model number and doesn't contain any other information regarding specs and features. In both cases they appear to be placeholder pages to be updated after the 2018 Galaxy A Series launches early next year.
From previous leaks, however, we have already heard that the Galaxy A7 2018 will feature an 18:9 aspect ratio Super AMOLED Infinity Display of the type seen on Samsung's 2017 flagships, meaning it'll be edge-to-edge with virtually no bezels, though it probably won't curve at the edges. It'll also pack a brand new 14nm Exynos 7892 octa-core chipset, which has two ARM Cortex-A73 cores and six ARM Cortex-A53 cores, as well as 6GB of RAM, meaning it'll be on a par with the Galaxy Note 8.
