SAMSUNG ANNOUNCES EXYNOS 9810 CHIPSET WHICH WILL LIKELY POWER GALAXY S9 AND S9+
Today, Samsung unveils its new flagship chipset, the Exynos 9810 SoC (System on Chip) in a press release. The chipset will likely power the upcoming the flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S9and Galaxy S9+ and even the Galaxy Note9 which is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2018.
Unlike the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which is manufactured on the 7nm process, the Exynos 9810 chipset has been manufactured on the 10nm process. This is the same as the Exynos 8895 chipset which powered the 2017 Samsung flagship smartphone lineup.
Samsung's next-gen chipset is also expected to use the company's latest 1.2Gbps CAT.18 6CA LTE Modem. The modem combines 6 carriers, which Samsung says is an industry first for better connectivity performance.

In addition to this, the chipset will likely support Samsung's latest ISOCELL Slim 2X7, which is a 24-megapixel image sensor with 0.9 micron pixels. The South Korean giant says the small 0.9 micron pixel size will enable the 24-megapixel sensor to be housed inside a thinner camera module.
