Black Friday 2017 BEGINS With THOUSANDS of Amazon Deals

Image
Black Friday is almost upon us. AGAIN. And Amazon is starting off a lot earlier than usual Like a rock rolling down a massive hill, Black Friday has steadily picked up momentum during the past couple of years. Last year’s event was HUGE, dwarfing previous years with billions spent and millions saved by savvy consumers. This year’s Black Friday, which will, of course, be followed by Cyber Monday, is fast approaching and in order to best take advantage of this,  Amazon is kicking things of VERY early. Amazon’s Count Down To Black Friday Sale , as the name suggests, is basically a pre-sale event before the main event kicks off in a few weeks time. Hundreds of products have already had their prices slashed, so if you’re looking to do some Christmas shopping now,  you might want to check them out . Inside, you’ll find deals updated on a regular basis, lightning deals, and daily deals – basically,  it’s a shoppers paradise of deals  and discounted products.   W

My Favourite Android Phones Of 2017

Image
Looking for a new top-tier Android phone? These are Paul's picks of 2017 Rich just published his article outlining his favourite smartphones of 2017 - well, his favourite Android smartphones of the year, to be precise. The reason it's all Android? Well, as he explains, the iPhone X might be an impressive bit of kit, but in spite of the extra bells and whistles it doesn't feel like it's worth the £1000+ starting price Apple is asking for it. Meanwhile, the iPhone 8 is very much a damp squib, costing more than last year's iPhone 7 while not offering a lot extra in the way of specs and features. An iPhone wouldn't make my pick of favourite phones for 2017 anyway, as I'm not a fan of Apple's products; don't get me wrong, I think they're good products and not hard to recommend (usually), they're just not my bag personally. But my personal preferences aside for a second I still have to agree with what Rich said (an

Android 8.1 Update Will FINALLY Unlock Pixel 2's "Pixel Visual Core" Chip

The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL feature a hidden, latent chip called the Pixel Visual Core – and Android 8.1 will FINALLY unlock it Google’s Android 8.1 update is now finally available as a preview. If you have a Pixel 2 phone with an unlocked bootloader, you can now install it. Just be warned: it is still a preview build and, therefore, not meant for mass consumption. The biggest new feature inside Android 8.1, however, is that it will finally unlock the  Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL’s  Pixel Visual Core chip, a dedicated AI chipset that is designed to help with imaging. Up to now, however, the Pixel Visual Core has remained dormant. But like the Kraken, it is about to wake… So what the hell is the Pixel Visual Core? “With eight Google-designed custom cores, each with 512 arithmetic logic units (ALUs), the IPU delivers raw performance of more than 3 trillion operations per second on a mobile power budget,”  said  Google. It added: “Using Pixel Visual Cor

Why? Simple: specs, performance, looks and, most of all, price – it’s 50% cheaper than the iPhone X

Why? Simple: specs, performance, looks and, most of all, price – it’s 50% cheaper than the iPhone X The OnePlus 5T is, for my money, the best phone option around right now. It costs less than half the price of the iPhone X and it looks stunning. It also has excellent specs, a great camera, and brilliant, all-round performance. Essentially,  the idea of paying $1000 for the iPhone X , when you can have a phone like the OnePlus 5T for less than half the cost, to me, seems insane – unless, of course, you have more money than you know what to do with. OnePlus has always offered up a lot of value with its phones, but the OnePlus 5T, when you factor in its design, specs, and overall performance, is something incredibly special. If you want an iPhone you will pay A LOT. Ditto anything from Samsung. Or LG. Basically, phones are now getting very expensive – only OnePlus offers another way. And this, for me, is where the company’s major strength resides; by ma
