![]() Infinix Note 3 is the third smartphone in Infinix Mobility's product line of budget mid-range phablets. This phone takes over from the Infinix Note 2 that was launched towards the end of 2015. This is what you will be getting when you open the box;
![]() DESIGN AND DISPLAY Infinix has upped its design game with the Note 3. The Note 3 looks better than the first two phablets in its product line. The slight curve around the edges and the shiny metal frame looks good. Infinix combines metallic and matte color finishes on the full metal body, creating a very beautiful device. The earpiece at the top has the camera and light sensor on the left, and the LED flash and notification light on its right. The 6-inch display comes with 1080p resolution. ![]() The Note 3 is the first in the series to have a full HD screen, and the depth of color and clarity is evident from the first look. At the bottom is the micro-USB port with the speaker grill on its right and the microphone orifice on the left. The navigation keys are placed on-screen. you can hide them from view when they get in the way like most devices allow. This has to be activated from the display settings. The right side holds the volume keys and volume button. With the space between the volume down button and power key just a few millimeters apart. Above these is the micro-SD slot. The right side holds the tray that houses two micro-SIM cards. The back holds the 13MP camera with a dual-LED flash just below it. Aligned underneath this is the fingerprint sensor which was absent in the Note 2 SOFTWARE & PERFORMANCE Infinix Note 3 is powered by an octa-core Helio X10 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. MT6753 and Mali T720 GPU. A 2GB RAM onboard which work together perfectly for the best experience. it processes whatever you throw at it. ![]() The Infinix Note 3 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box with XOS Chameleon overlay. XOS is designed to replace XUI which we have been seeing on Infinix phones for a while With features meant to improve user experience and battery life. CAMERA Infinix Note 3 delivers decent pictures. As with most of its smartphones, Infinix Note 3 doesn't come with a barebone camera app. ![]() The camera settings put full control in your hands. With a 5-megapixel front camera accompanied with a soft flash. The rear camera is however much better and produces images worthy of the Note 3's huge screen. It comes at 13 megapixels with a flash and is also capable of recording at 1080p. BATTERY The selling point of Infinix's Note line has always been its battery, and the Note 3 improves on that. The battery capacity goes up from 4,000 mAh in the Note 2 to 4,500 mAh in the Note 3. ![]() You can go over 2 whole days listening to music on the phone. It will give you over a day if you combine data usage to that. It isn't just that the battery is huge, it also charges really fast too. If you have power. You get 200mins of talk time with a 5mins charge.
